Bodyography Glitter Pigments Review + Dupe?

bodyography_glitter pigments review swatches

I've been playing with the Bodyography pigments for a few weeks. I honestly love them. Even if it's impossible to remove all glitter flecks off my eyes when removing this stuff. In person, they are much more stunning and sparkly looking than they look on camera and in photos.

My video review will be linked below if you want to watch live swatches and find out more information.

If you've never heard of Bodyography, here's some information on them.

Bodyography Glitter Pigments applied with water on a dry arm.
I'm so impressed with these. I really can't find anything bad to say about them. They apply amazingly wet or dry. They don't crease on me. Some of the shades are so pigmented.

Stellar, Bubbly, Sparkler, Stratus, Halo, Prism, Soiree, Caviar
Below is a dry arm swatch. It's less pigment but there's SO much sparkle and shine. You don't understand!

Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow Dupe?!

The shades Halo and Stratus are very similar to the Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow (could they name it any longer) in that they're large flecks of 'glitter'. Below are some close dupes I found.

A lot of people really didn't like the Stila MMFFE. I didn't either. They're a little hard to work with and messy. You need to mix them just right or they don't apply well or wear well through the day. I personally think the Stila MMFFE is way too chunky. I'd pass and get the Bodyography Glitter Pigments. They're just smoother and apply amazingly wet or dry.

But keep in mind, only the Bodyography shades Halo and Status are glitter flecks like the Stila. The shades Caviar, Soiree and Prism are a fine glitter and have an added eyeshadow pigment so that they can cover whatever your base colour is, completely. The shades Stellar, Sparkly and Bubbly have a bit of eyeshadow pigment added to them as well so that they can be built up to cover your base colour. They're also hella sparkly.
